What to expect?
Broadcast Presenter and PR Consultant, Michelle Eagleton hosts an hour and half online PR Masterclass with Victoria Armstrong sharing experiences and invaluable advice. The session ends with a 15-minute Q and A ‘hotseat’ where participants can pose questions to the expert.
Victoria is an experienced and well-connected PR and communications professional, specialising in arts, culture and heritage. She has worked with a variety of organisations, the likes of an internationally recognised conservatoire, major international theatre organisations and a leading UK Choir. She has supported these organisations and their projects with high quality creative communications campaigns and strategies. Created using the relevant mix of media relations, brand communication, thought leadership, content creation and events; alongside ongoing horizon scanning, crisis communications and reputation management when needed. These projects have spanned high-grossing musicals, community activities, hospitality and artist development. She has a passion for storytelling and content creation and its integral role in a well-rounded communications strategy. This passion has led her to organise successful PR stunts including a ‘Calendar Girls’ inspired photoshoot and The Grinch sabotaging North West Christmas Light Switch On Events. She’s currently an instrumental member of the in-house communications team at one of the UK’s largest cultural organisations, The Lowry.

The Masterclass sessions focus on a different theme each week and discuss the future of PR, the direction the industry is going and tips from leading experts in their field.
This event is supported by the University of Salford Arts, Media and Creative Technology School which is investing in training for the media and creative technology workforce. The Pipeline is designed to support staff and freelancers to upskill and stay connected.
